This book is specially written for those students who are majoring in the field of primary education. It is designed for non-native students of the field who wish to widen their range of professional vocabulary and general knowledge of the field in English.

The book includes five chapters, each presenting some lessons discussing different topics in the field. The general aims and behavioral objectives are listed at the beginning of each lesson to draw student’s attention to the main points and activities on which they are expected to concentrate.

Each lesson comprises a reading section, which functions as its main part. The material within the passage is used for contextualizing the vocabulary and designing the various exercises and activities that improve reading comprehension. The exercises following the passage are somehow related to it. The reading passages of the book have been taken from modern English texts in the field of primary education.  The main purpose of this part is to acquaint students with typical authentic reading selections, to promote their reading comprehension, and to help them perceive the ideas and arguments in each passage. After reading each lesson, students are expected to answer the questions, do the exercises, and discuss different subjects related to the field of primary education in English by using the keywords and main ideas that are repeated in the exercises.
